Review on 🔒 Enhanced Power Tailgate Lock (PL8340) for Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 Models by Julio Avikunthak

I just installed this over the weekend and am happy so far. I routed it from the passenger side, not the driver's side, to hook it up that way. I did this for the simple reason of the durability of the lock itself. That way it only opens when I open all the doors, not every time you press the unlock button. It took some searching and testing, but I found the right combination of wires and colors to make it work. For those wanting to do the same, there are purple/light blue and light green/dark blue wires under the passenger cowl. A simple connection and a bit of soldering and the latch works great. Will be updated for a while after installation.
