I clamped this nut on my BMW, I tried to pull it out with various tools but to no avail and the head of the nut was rounded. I bought an Eastwood nut extractor to start with because it has a 1/2" drive and a longer head. It was able to loosen two of the three stuck nuts. As a last resort I bought this one, with a 3/8" drive and a short. The first time I tried it, the 1/2 to 3/8 inch adapter broke. i thought i was lost But it was a good touch. I figured I could use an external hex and brought in a 24mm socket. The first attempt failed, the 17mm puller further damaged the nut head. Then I use a 16mm extractor, hammer down to get a good grip and this time it worked. I'm so excited and so relieved. Thanks.
