Review on Simplicty Aluminum Crochet Hook Sizes by Morgan Gilmore

I have been crocheting for over 40 years and have had to replace all the hooks. Someone stole them all. I've always bought Boye over the years. I no longer recommend this brand. This is not the boye that once gave us the highest quality product. Hook D was bent when I received it. It's such a weak aluminum that I can see how they will bend. The flex seemed to be a complaint in several other reviews. They don't have the big hook end that Boye had years ago. I can see where the pattern requiring dual threading can end up being a problem. Don't be fooled by the comment in their description. "The Boye Needle Company, founded in 1906, was America's first manufacturer of crochet hooks and knitting needles." It's just an empty phrase and means nothing. This is a cheap Chinese product.
