Simplicty Aluminum Crochet Hook Sizes Review

I have been crocheting for over 40 years and have had to replace all the hooks. Someone stole them all. I've always bought Boye over the years. I no longer recommend this brand. This is not the boye that once gave us the highest quality product. Hook D was bent when I received it. It's such a weak aluminum that I can see how they will bend. If you are looking to replace some of the Boye hooks you previously had I would advise you to make sure what you are getting with the DK set on this page. When I bought this set earlier the D hook was measured and printed as 3.25mm as everywhere else. Well maybe Boye has always sold D-Hooks in the size now listed - 3, ONE, TWO, FIVE mm - and they are only now reporting to the consumer; or maybe they actually resized their D hooks to 3.125mm.
