I wanted to fertilize a lemon tree in my garden so I bought some fertilizer tips. I tried to follow the directions on the box (drive spikes into the ground) but the ground was too hard and I didn't move. So I took this nifty long drill bit and used it to drill a hole for each fertilizer spike. I really liked that this drill was long because I really didn't want to kneel down to place the spikes. My lemon tree is on a steep slope, it would be difficult to kneel and get back up. I was able to do all the work standing up with the drill. The end of the drill with the drill bit is quite large, but fits my cordless drill easily. It took me a few tries to get it tightened properly, but once sorted it was very easy to use. Overall I found this tool very useful. I look forward to using it this spring when it's time to fertilize the lemon tree again.
