Bought some cheap imported ones and the cutting edges are bent after cutting something harder than copper. This is hardened tool steel for you. China is currently slashing prices on everything, but don't buy serious tools from them if you intend to use them more than a few times. I should know that by now, but this is really the last time I'll be tempted by the price. They always look like American or German tools that cost many times more, but are always made from significantly inferior metals in non-quality controlled processes. These are good solid bypass cutters. I was hoping they were a bit smaller and thinner to get into smaller spots but they are great for medium sized cuts. And I doubt that cutting the hanger will damage the cut edges.
