This is a wonderful adjustable loom. EXCELLENTLY CRAFTED - Beautifully finished wood, quality pins and metal hardware. Includes two screw lengths for different widths between long pieces. They have provided you with drilled pieces of wood so you can put them between long boards with no pins, as well as wider boards with 5 pins so you can make round pieces. Yes, you can make a sock with this machine, but the length of the board makes it a bit unwieldy as you have to keep turning to avoid the pins. I would prefer to use a shorter Knitting Board sock loom, if I made socks on a loom. Another reason to love this loom is that it allows you to use single skeins of #4 worsted yarn, rather than loose or double-skein #4 yarn that typical round looms require.
