Installation took less than 10 minutes. A 14mm diameter hole is recommended for installation; I used a 5/8" shovel on my hammer drill and it worked well. This peephole is made from very durable material and consists of only 2 parts that bolt together on either side of the door. Has an extra long thread to accommodate many to accommodate different door thicknesses. Fingers pinch together and fit snugly. Interior coating feels strong and I don't expect it to loosen over time depending on how it's built. All in all, this peephole was an absolute no-brainer to put together install, looks amazing, works as it should and is built to last.
