I've tried different routers, extenders, etc., all with mixed results. Either a weak signal or a speed much lower than what I was getting directly from the router. This system has eliminated all my problems. I have a steady WiFi signal. I don't have to switch between different routers even though I have a two story house and a separate garage quite a distance from my house. The speed is actually faster than what I get from the router my ISP gave me. Setup was pretty quick and easy. In the beginning I had a little problem. Communication between the devices was lost, but I've found that if you change the settings to turn off the WiFi signal coming from your own router and set it as your own access point, it works perfectly. Since then no problems.
