I moved this machine to another location because I needed a router badly. I really like this system, despite the shortcomings. He is strong, long-range and fast. What I didn't like is that you think you're buying one thing and another. When you buy this system think that you will get a "grid" with a daisy chain topology. When it first came out, you had a "mesh system" that used a star topology, meaning each node or satellite is connected to a router. Netgear was later updated to allow the daisy

As advertised

This product was recommended to me by a technician. I installed it myself. Solved all connection problems in a 4,500 square foot house.

Pros

Cons
  • High price

Interesting experiment, but back: there are kinks that need solving

I tried replacing the Asus firewall router and Ubiquiti AC Pro hotspot with this one. I didn't buy it from Revain and will be returning it in a few days. It has an interesting set of features, including a few things I'd like to have but didn't work well with what I had before. I first tried it in its typical architecture, where it had the primary role of a firewall, and in our experience it seemed pretty unstable. A couple of times the satellite got stuck without self-healing, which didn't…

Great Wi-Fi System for Big Homes

We installed the ORBI Mesh Wi-Fi System in our country home, which is quite large and spread out. It worked great, greatly improving the speed and strength of the Wi-Fi signal even in the farthest corners of the house. So we ordered another one for our main house, a larger but more compact one that extends over three floors. It was quick and easy to install (one hour) and works great. I don't have any technical support experience yet as we don't need it. The ORBI app is a handy system…

Very easy setup, seamless wifi on 3 floors and beyond.

Very easy setup, seamless WiFi on 3 floors and access to the pool with a router and two satellites. And very good parental controls, easily customizable. The phone app gives me quick control, including the ability to disconnect each device from the internet individually.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I'll write later

You will not be disappointed. Works perfectly.

I've tried different routers, extenders, etc., all with mixed results. Either a weak signal or a speed much lower than what I was getting directly from the router. This system has eliminated all my problems. I have a steady WiFi signal. I don't have to switch between different routers even though I have a two story house and a separate garage quite a distance from my house. The speed is actually faster than what I get from the router my ISP gave me. Setup was pretty quick and easy. In the…
