Ultimately, I think that with a weight of 4 kg, a power of 1.2 kW, a depth saw cut 66mm (in fact 67, the saw itself, if necessary, is easily “finished” up to 70mm), cast base, convenient technological design (upgraded after the guarantee) and the price of 7490 (HS7601X1 together with an additional disk) on 11/30/18 - the best option for neat home use. Yes, with a power of 1200W, it is not for high-speed use, but find a weight of 4 kg more powerful with a molded base, a convenient form factor that I can work with it with one hand. Model 5008MG is also good, but the weight is already 4.8kg (officially and 5.1kg almost everywhere at sellers) Depth 76mm, but + 1kg. I set myself the task of finding a saw with a saw cut of about 70 mm, weighing up to 4 kg inclusive, with a power of 1.5-1.6 kW, a cast base, a convenient technological design, but so far, alas. This saw went through a small baptism of work and I really liked how we did it with it! :-) In general, since 2022 I have given preference to prof. tool from Bosh, but with saws at a cost of up to 10 thousand. they don't have it yet. If you want a super-clean cut, in addition to the blade for this purpose, you need to set the depth of cut specifically for the thickness of the material that you are going to cut. 56 tooth EDGE blade for laminate. Worked with furniture boards. The result is flawless.

- Ill-conceived case. Took in a complete set without it, but with add. disc (HS7601X1). A case is needed, but it is too spacious for this saw. When you have all the necessary tool boxes, they should either be universal and cost 500 each, or be individual for each model of saw or other tool and be compact! The case for this saw is good in quality, but in terms of volume, you can still lay a small saw-sister there. For non-commercial occasional use, this case takes up a lot of space. The same claims apply to the case for the model 4329 jigsaw. At the same time, the case for the 24th punch is almost the same size as for the jigsaw. Oh those marketers.
