Very good clear screen. Basically, it's easy to install once you have an idea of how to connect a monitor. As observation points I would suggest the following.1. You can get the user manual via Goodling"U2415"2. I did not receive an HDMI cable or USB cable in the box. Just unplug Displayport.3 cable. Make sure you check your computer for graphics card output ports before purchasing a monitor.4. I like to place the monitor on a table in a clear layer of packaging before attaching the stand so I can see the connections. 4a. Then connect the cables, attach the stand and route them through the hole in the stand. You either have to unplug something from your computer or monitor for it to work. Note that things like mouse and keyboard can be connected to the monitor, but you also need to connect the monitor to your computer via USB.6. The control buttons on the front panel are not clearly labeled and are very pressure-sensitive, so you can accidentally press one of them and turn off the monitor, for example. If you run your hand along the bottom, you can turn it off. Or make adjustments to another feature. There is an undo function, but you need to remember it.7. If the monitor shows the connection is unavailable, you may need to change the input selection to the last used one. I believe the standard is DP (DisplayPort) and I had to change mine to Mini DisplayPort.8. You may not need to use driver installation disc if your operating system like Windows 10 can already recognize the monitor.9. You may need to adjust the scaling if you previously adjusted the size of text and icons.10. As I said, I used a mini DisplayPort, but the end that connected to the computer had very short pins that came out of the connector at an angle. I think the idea is to prevent accidental unplugging. You have to play with it to get it or get out; It's like putting a box in a dresser. You have to flip it in and out somehow.10. You can connect with an HDMI cable, but again you'll need to update your input source. I just bought the monitor and didn't change any settings like contract, brightness, so I haven't found the best setting yet. As of late, this is a heavy monitor weighing almost 15 pounds, which is very good if you're a pet owner. My cats have already knocked over my computer which is an HP Pavilion Tower.
