What made me hesitant to buy this product is the "hard to take off" reviews. However, I have found that this is not true. Shimano SPD-SL pedals have tension adjusters. If you want these pedal adapters to stay in place and not wobble, simply set the pedal tension to max. To remove the pedal adapters, simply set the tension on the spd-sl pedals to the lowest setting and they can be easily removed by hand. A pair now stays with my road bike gear so I can convert my clipless pedals to flat pedals in just minutes if needed. My wife also loves these pedal adapters as she sometimes forgot to pack her cycling shoes in the car for our weekend bike ride.
