I bought this to replace an old 30 year old mustard paint that has served us well but was not stylish enough for public use. had to stick with the old reliable one. The new model has already been used three times: the lid had to be force closed, but moisture still got in, leading to unreliable results (and a spoiled meal); the non-stick coating is no better than the 30-year-old coating on the previous model; the lack of real handles [which I knew from the product description though] is more uncomfortable than I expected, especially since the lid has to be struggled with, not lifted. In short, it's a big disappointment and if I had used it soon enough to notice all these flaws I would return it. The frying pan works and the insert is moderately acceptable, but I could have put the insert in the old model and had less irritation. You might get lucky and get a good one (I was hoping you would), but I wouldn't count on it.
