I have been working as a locksmith in my own shop for 4 years and many more in other shops. I was looking for a quality ball joint press tool that wouldn't break and takes up a ton of space with an H-frame hydraulic press. Well apparently this tool is just one of those "too good to be true" offers because I've bought 3 different brands without these and they all bend after one use and become unusable. Using every possible combat option, PLUS used an air hammer on a full cockpit at 150psi. It eventually popped out, but there was a left turn before it broke in half. Installing the ball joint was just as bumpy 30 minutes before it finally arrived and I even put the ball joints in the freezer to shrink and double check they were the right size. Unfortunately I was unable to install the second lower ball joint due to the flex of this tool and it ended up damaging my new ball joint and scrapping it. So I know I'll have to buy/rent another tool like this and only get by with it once and then break down and buy a hydraulic press. It doesn't help, I live in northern Minnesota where even the 2015s are lazy, but oh well.... If they would spend an extra $20 to bolster the crap out of the backbone of this tool I would use it 3 times a month. Return period, and now I have more money than I would have if I had just bought a press.
