I will upload a video example showing how this ball head works. I have bought many things from Andoer and they always work well for a very long time, this is no exception. Before I got this I had a cheap $30 tripod head, but it was sorely lacking for the type of content I do. The pivoting action on this ball head is pretty amazing, it's really smooth and a quarter click into place. In fact, most knobs only require a quarter turn to engage. Smooth motion allows slider movements to get parallax motion with small errors (repeat). This ball head can carry heavy loads, I loaned my Canon 5D MKIV to a friend before taking these photos, although it can easily handle the weight of a Canon 5D MKIV with 70-200mm 2.8 USM. There are 2 locking knobs for the ball but I actually prefer that the smaller one stays free and the larger knob is responsible for the locking position. Apparently this is version 2 so it's most likely an update to version 1 in response to old reviews where some had problems. I've used this on a couple of shoots so I'll post more examples when I get home as well. Overall it's great gear, it's small for pockets and a heck of a lot better than a portable tripod. head creaks when turned down.
