Review on 🐃 BUFFALO TeraStation 3420DN 4-Bay Desktop NAS 16TB (4x4TB) with Included Hard Drives & 2.5GBE by Steve Snyder

This thing is so slow it's unusable. I've been contacting tech support for weeks trying to get it to work faster and now it's so slow it's completely useless. I tried to update the firmware and it crashed. I tried connecting it directly to the computer with a CAT5e cable, but the computer didn't establish a reliable network connection. I asked if they would return it and they said I had to go through the seller I bought it from and you know what? Raven won't be returning either! The thing is junk. $800 useless tech taking up space. Maybe I can turn it into an aquarium or something because it's useless as computer storage. DO NOT BUY THIS! Update: Turns out Macs are notoriously bad at handling NAS drives. You have to re-index folders and create thumbnails every time you open them. So Apple is partly to blame for the slowness of this drive. However, the fact that it didn't work over WiFi still makes this product difficult to use. If you are a Mac user I would look for another option.
