Review on Beck Arnley 043 3000 Fuel Filter by Sean Copeland

Installation was a little painful, pull out the seat slightly, pry open the opening slightly. But once you get the pump out, it's pure joy. Oh and the box was smashed and opened on arrival, probably no fault of Amazon. I had to stretch the ring clip on the mesh bag with an AWL to remove it. Then a needle tip and a flathead screwdriver to clip it back into the slots. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the positive clips were larger on the old filter and when it was there it was tight. This is a new filter, the positive bottom of the clips was slightly smaller so it snapped in properly, but since the clips didn't fill in the locking holes they had some play even with the black gasket installed properly underneath. No big deal as it will work. I just don't like it, that's why it's four stars. Comes with a black cap and o-ring but without a U-clip for the fuel line (easy to break on installation, I didn't do it but I saw it). Clamp the ring. Check it after you pinch it because if it's not there, it'll just fall off. I had to repeat it several times. I then reconnected the cable to the battery, the RTV pulled the live crap out of the smoke fuel pump access hole. I cut the tube, scooped it out and painted it. It took a few turns to get the fuel back into the rail, but it ignited well. I can't wait to see how she drives! Won't be right until my O2 sensor is on but seems to be working great!
