Immediately after unpacking, the brochure says "The heater is a consumable item, change it after one year". This makes it immediately clear that the quality standard is low and is not designed to last more than a year. But the reason I hate it is that the little temperature adjustment box is right in the middle of the cable. Not to the end where the heater enters the tank and is easily accessible. Not at the end of the fork, where it's also easily accessible. No, it's right in the middle of the 6ft cord, right where it hides behind the closet so it can't be read or adjusted. Do yourself a favor and stick with the products you've always relied on. Don't experiment with "newfangled" models, they rarely turn out to be as good as you imagined.
