Easy to use and set up

Digital temperature is easy to program with a button on the cord. There is no need to remove the heater from the tank or dip your hand in water to set the temperature. Simply place the heater in the tank for 20 minutes to equalize the water temperature with the heater before plugging it in. The heater display shows the water temperature. To set the heating temperature, simply press the button until the desired temperature is reached and then stop. I will buy again.

Good budget heater for aquarium heaters and coolers

Edit: Replacement sent and works as expected. My replacement was better packaged. Customer service was also contacted but was not required. best value I will definitely buy more if the need arises. Very bright LED so I know it's working properly. I must have been very lucky to catch a device with a loose top, ignore it, and screw it back on. The device was easy to use and easy to set up. Great concept. Everything worked, went to work, came home, and the device turned off and hasn't turned on…

What a stupid idea!

Immediately after unpacking, the brochure says "The heater is a consumable item, change it after one year". This makes it immediately clear that the quality standard is low and is not designed to last more than a year. But the reason I hate it is that the little temperature adjustment box is right in the middle of the cable. Not to the end where the heater enters the tank and is easily accessible. Not at the end of the fork, where it's also easily accessible. No, it's right in the middle of the

STAY AWAY! DO NOT BUY THIS AQUARIUM HEATER!

RUN! DO NOT BUY THIS AQUARIUM HEATER! Cook up $1,000 worth of beautiful sea fish, inversions and coral near the boiling point of 102.5 degrees! EVERYTHING DIED OVER THE NIGHT. I went to bed at 1am and everything was fine, woke up at 8am and EVERYTHING WAS DEAD and the water was 102.5 degrees. This thing literally collapsed and turned my saltwater tank into a cancer in just 7 hours. The heat setting doesn't even go that high! I want a full refund of the money I spent on this heating disaster and

Suitable for fish and aquatic animals

When I first received this heater I placed it in my aquarium as per the instructions, fully submerged in water. I plugged it in and it started blinking E1. It was a bad sign. The instructions don't say what to do, just that E1 means "If the metal temperature sensor was in the air, the product will show error code 'E1' and 'E1: Lack of water or incorrect installation'." I thought I had Bought crap but I decided to set the temp and see what happens. Good thing I did, because the temperature in…

Great and great heater!

This is an excellent warm-up. I bought this for my South American cichlid tank and have since purchased a $50 Petco heater. The day before I moved my fish to a new, larger tank, I installed both heaters to bring the water up to temperature quickly. Well the next day came and I removed the VivoSun heater and my temperature dropped faster than Hillary was deleting emails. Pulled out an expensive heater and heard it broke. Put that cute, ceramic-coated, remote-controlled heater back in place and…
