This is almost a perfect lock. It is much more difficult to attach a cutting tool to thick square links than to a rigid U-lock shackle. The chain is relatively short, making it difficult to insert any tool into it. The downside to this is that the seat tube, rear wheel, and bike rack are difficult to bypass: you may have to settle for simply threading them through the frame. The end or "lock" link is pasted into the body of the lock so nothing is visible. While I usually grab the Kryptonite Millennium 2 U-Lock to protect the bike from opportunists when stopping quickly, I grab the chain lock when I really need serious protection.
