Review on Fel Pro VS50623R Valve Cover Gasket by John Baker

I bought this gasket for my 2004 Nissan Altima. I replaced the valve cover first when it showed signs of leaking and made the mistake of buying a Dorman cover. Terrible, terrible product. My review on it explains why you should avoid it. Anyway, I was in the process of replacing this Dorman product with an OEM version. The OEM version came with PCV but no gasket. Fel-Pro pads have always worked for me and this one was no exception. Its entry into the channel on the lid was excellent. Much attention is also paid to their design, since the ribs help to seal the surfaces. The only comment I have is that I would prefer the black upholstery. This one was blue. Again, not a big deal, but I prefer black.
