Review on Enhanced Motorola Motonav πŸ“ TN565T 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator by Mike Walters

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Small GPS that has failed.

Forget all the bells and whistles, the true measure of a GPS is its ability to find your destination. Unfortunately, Motorola Motonav has failed 4 out of 7 times I've used it. Each time I typed in an address, I would hold my breath to see if the GPS would find the location on its maps. Too often it didn't. I'll honestly admit that my Hewlett-Packard iPAQ 310 Bluetooth 4.3 inch Widescreen Handheld GPS couldn't find any of the addresses either, but I bought a Motonav to REPLACE the ipaq. I chose Motonav because I needed a cheap GPS that would provide me with traffic information, but it let me down in terms of reliability. and Bing required the use of Bluetooth and were slow to respond. The mount is inefficient - it was difficult to attach and detach the device from the mount. No power adapter to charge at home. You're basically stuck charging this in your car or any other cigarette lighter style DC outlet. Final Verdict. To me, the most important feature of GPS is that it can find the address you typed in. faster routes may be good, but I need to be sure they will get me where I need to go. After two business trips, I found out (the hard way) that I couldn't rely on Motorola's MotoNave, so I had to return it. 1 1/2 stars (I thought it deserved more than 1 star as it worked well, if it could find the address) - No power adapter for charging at home.
