Review on 🥊 Optimized Ringside Boxing Headgear with Cheek Protection by Jim Reinhardt

Before I bought the Ringside Competition headgear I used a similar version of the Twins Special. However, due to a lack of foresight, I bought a red Twins Special hat. Since red is not a neutral color, I had to find a solution ahead of the upcoming tournament as I might be fighting from the blue corner. As a last minute purchase and with very limited options available I ordered a Ringside Competition head for possible use at a recent Muay Thai tournament. As this was my first experience with the brand and I have therefore not personally tested it, I was a bit concerned and had my reservations based on some of the reviews, particularly regarding the length of the chin strap. As experience has shown, these fears were unfounded. My 3 teammates and I shared my only ringside headgear purchase (completely unplanned) throughout the tournament, for a total of 9 fights. Since we all fought in different categories and weight classes, had different fighting styles and faced opponents of different levels of experience, this hat held up with no problems and in fact got rave reviews from every guy. We unanimously appreciated this headdress. so comfortable, light, unobtrusive and uncompromisingly safe (i.e. it didn't move even after direct hits or during compression) when properly adjusted. None of us, including heavyweight heavyweights with thick hair, found a problem with the chin strap, its length and/or the locking mechanism. In fact, at the end of the tournament, our coach mercifully confiscated the headgear to be used as headgear by the Fight Team community in future competitions. It didn't make me happy but we are a team. Which leaves me with my only grudge - having to repurchase the hat to replace the one that has now been "gifted" to the gym. Once funds are available I intend to order (4) more of these hats - one each in black, white, red and blue.
