Installed on my Vision Kamado Pro Grill today. The seal between the ash pan and the grate body has a seal, but there is play. Mr Gasket fits this width exactly and still snaps into place. The Vision Grill Ashtray has taken many forms over the last 5 years. The one I have has a baffle between the electric starter front door and the shelf below. I cut to fit around both so there is a seal around both areas. That's great! I hear a thump as it connects to the permanent seal along the hole. It does not have to be fireproof as it does not come into contact with fire. For the glue I used industrial high-temperature spray glue. It hardens but has had enough time to dry and adheres well to the metal surface of the pan. I'll update in a few months to see how the pad performs after some long preparations!
