High-Quality Compressed Gasket 🔒 Material Sheet by Mr. Gasket 9615MRG Review

This is the first time I have used any type of gasket material. Made a valve cover gasket for a small engine. It worked fine. Make sure the cutting tool has a very sharp blade.

This is a soft, fixed material. But the bad news is that when used as an exhaust pipe gasket, it breaks in less than an hour of work. Don't use it for anything that exceeds about 400 degrees. There is other material on Revain Mr. Seal operating at higher temperatures.

Used on our gas grill where the burner blocks go through the frame and attach to the grill area. Given what it takes, a replacement from a grill manufacturer was expensive, but you can make your own with scissors and/or a pull-out knife and you'll have plenty of spares for future replacements from this material. It's strange that we couldn't find it in any of the major auto parts stores.

Used this stuff to replace the horrible tear resistant paper liners for my pellet stove. The only thing that could improve this would be if this company offered pre-cut gaskets in the same material but customized for specific pellet stoves. They would be a little more work but could probably charge a little more premium and use less material. I made my own patterns and cut my own. They have held up very well and I will definitely buy again when they run out which may not last long as they last…

Like the other reviewer, I bought this product to make gaskets for my pellet stoves. I could buy new pre-stamped gaskets from the stove manufacturer, but the fact of the matter is that every time I take the draft regulator off for service, the old gasket falls apart and can't be reused without smoke getting into the house. Installed on my Vision Kamado Pro Grill today. The seal between the ash pan and the grate body has a seal, but there is play. Mr Gasket fits this width exactly and still snaps into place. The Vision Grill Ashtray has taken many forms over the last 5 years. The one I have has a baffle between the electric starter front door and the shelf below. My pellet stove is a brick fireplace insert. I bought this product because I didn't want to pay a pellet stove manufacturer $25 for a plain 4 inch white gasket. Must have cost 25 cents and the original only lasted a year. I mean the gasket between the stove body and the external exhaust fan. The fan is mounted on the side of the stove to the rear and sucks the fumes out of the stove and sends them up a 3" chimney which I inserted into the stone chimney. Got this for recently installing an aftermarket exhaust manifold on my Nissan Sentra.
