Review on Enhance Your Indoor Comfort with the La Crosse Technology Comfort Level Station (Black) by Carlos Burrows

Sporadic after 2 weeks (continue to switch display to high print temperature), then completely dead after 60 days. I bought new batteries but that didn't help. La Crosse has carefully chosen not to include contact information in the warranty description and it can be surmised that they minimize their liability by insisting that the defective item be sent to a La Crosse facility at the buyer's expense. In short, given the cost of this item, there's little choice but to write it off as a bad buy. Maybe I was just lucky before, as this is the first time I've bought such a complete mess from Revain. I've noticed several other one star reviewers had similar flaws with La Crosse, but with just one purchase I can't imagine how common this problem can be. I suspect some of the 5 star reviews were written shortly after purchase only to have some of these devices fail as well (I don't think Revain allows us to limit the number of stars we give in a review change, although we may edit our reviews at any time). So I wish each and every one of you the best of luck venturing on La Crosse!
