Pros: Price, great for casual users, decent body, good die selection. Cons: Metric chips are not compatible with AWG wiring used in the US. If metric cable and spade lugs were readily available in the US, this would be a pretty good tool. But that's not the case. Looking at the chart that came with the tool, I see that the metric dies recommended for AWG sizes are larger than the actual AWG size, resulting in a potentially weak crimp. In general, free bending = more resistance, more resistance = more heat, more heat = expansion of the bend, which can lead to more weakening/resistance in the bend. And then there's the higher current generated by the higher resistance. Not the best recipe for modern devices with electronics or large electrical loads. If the correct AWG dies were not available for this crimp I would not recommend this tool.
