Review on Dorman 924 834 Center Console Repair by Wayne Espinoza

This is a very good replacement for the Ford Sport Trac upper center console. This steel machined top should last forever compared to an all plastic OEM top. This is the second time I've replaced this top and I can see where the controversy is coming from in some of these reviews. One of my broken lids shows very clearly that the hinge pin can easily be knocked out with a hammer and punch. The other broke in an area where (although I know the pin can be knocked out) I had trouble figuring out which direction it went (left-to-right or right-to-left). I'll update this review if I find a definitive way for others to check.
