First of all, the item arrived with a surprising number of scratches on both the transparent top cover and the LCD display cover. The plastic used for these parts is surprisingly soft and prone to marking given the high cost of this simple device, not to mention they could put a little more love into the packaging to prevent that. Second, it's only 48 watts. a heater that passively heats the interior of the tank and lid to 55Β°C, which is insufficient to effectively dry some types of filament. It also has nothing to create airflow and no way to actively remove moist air that may have accumulated. This is more effective at preventing moisture absorption than a filament dryer. It also appears to have a built-in auto shut-off. the device works really very smoothly. Given the device's high price, cheap materials, and poor design considerations, do yourself a favor and get yourself a dehydrator that can actually work, and then make an airtight container for the actual printing time. It'll cost you a little more time, but you'll save money and get better results.
