Review on 🚙 JE-17749 Jeep Starter Replacement by TYC by Adam Walsh

Perfect replacement for the original starter on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ after 155,000 miles. Almost half the price at any local parts store. Screwed it on right away. Has been working fine for a week. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the electrical connector, screwed cable and flip-flop on this starter are original. In the original, the screw-on wire was at the bottom of the starter (when installed) and the plug-in wire above it. This made it very easy to remove the nut. The replacement starter has a bolted wire over the plug wire when installed, making access to the bolt and nut difficult in tight spaces. It's fine, but there was a small inconvenience when installing a new starter. If I had to do it all over again I would connect all the wires BEFORE attaching the starter to the bell.
