The most amazing thing about this particular aquatic plant is how quickly it filters the water. This is really an innovation. It's much faster than Brita or other brands I've tried recently. Seems to filter water almost as fast as you can pour it over it. The water is delicious. I don't think the water I pour from the tap tastes bad by itself, but I certainly like it with this pitcher. I really like the sliding lid. and a small thumb-open cap to fill with water (without having to remove the entire cap). I feel like it holds a lot of water for its size. These jugs can be deceiving in terms of water capacity, but I feel like I get a decent amount of water out of them. And it fits easily in my fridge. That's probably enough for two people. Maybe not much for a large family, but in that case you're looking at a larger system anyway. I also like that it increases the alkalinity of the water. It seems to be such a great health benefit. Highly recommended!
