Review on SIOUX CHIEF GIDDS 710001 Putty Gasket by Christian Byrd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The seal saved me!

I normally only review my purchases, but this product made me write my first Revain review. My kitchen sink leaks every few months no matter how tightly I caulk it. I'm a do-it-yourselfer and have sealed several sink drains with putty without leaking, but for some reason my kitchen sink keeps dripping with putty. I even replaced the drain assembly, thinking the old one might be deformed, but it's still leaking. I saw this sigil on Revain and, tired of the leak, decided it was worth a try. Surprisingly, after installing the gasket and carefully waiting and observing the leak, it didn't leak. It's been 1.5 years since I got the filling and so far it's holding up really well. Fingers crossed, he continues to write. I highly recommend a fill if you don't want to mess around with putty, although the cost of a fill is a lot more than a small tube of putty. For me it was worth it.
