Difficult to install but great air quality

I have been using these filters in my Ford Focus ST and my mother's Mazda 3 for a number of years. Difficult to install as it is not as flexible as the OEM paper filter. But once you install it, it will be very comfortable to be in the car. No smelly diesel exhaust bothers my nose. You should replace it at least once a year as it gradually loses effectiveness due to chemical rather than physical protection. My Ford had a Tesla-like HEPA filter, but its size and Ford's air pump capacity are probably not enough to pump air through them. Charcoal and baking soda are good alternatives

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Replacement available
