Simple and inexpensive spare tire mount for my cargo trailer
I needed a solution to mount a spare tire on my cargo trailer. Most of the products found were either expensive or didn't work. My problem is that my cargo trailer's top tube is a 2 1/2" round tube. By placing the front of the tire centered over the hitch, the tire is able to grab the top tube and secure it in place. The tire restricts turning and loading the trailer in. Simple solution.
