Works the same as 5000 grit wet sandpaper using an automotive orbital buffer and wool pad (Note: DO NOT use in the sun). Works on deep abrasions. First I paint over the scratch with Dr. ColorChip, let dry and then polish with Malco Tru Grit. Leave for a day or two and repeat. I've been working on this for over a month now and the deep abrasion is about 90% gone. The polished paint did it. Beautiful and elegant If you don't know where to look, you can't see it. I only wish the Malco Tru Grit was smaller than 32 oz.
