I cook all the time. Not only do I cook all of our meals from scratch due to family issues, but I also have a large organic garden that I am constantly raising food from. I love savory food so I use a lot of peppers, onions, ginger and garlic! I've worn out several garlic presses in my life. The latter literally broke when I tried to squeeze the ginger into the kefir. Tired of cheap crap, I decided to find a quality garlic press. With a lifetime guarantee, I bought the Alpha Grillers Garlic Peeling and Pressing Kit about a year and a half ago and have been using it on garlic and ginger almost every day since. It's awesome! WHAT'S IN THE BOX: Beautifully presented in a pretty gift box, I received a stainless steel garlic press and silicone hose garlic peeler. WHAT I LIKE: I've been using this garlic press for a year and a half now. and it looks just as good today as it did when I bought it. It shows absolutely no signs of use. In my hand, this press feels solid and reliable. Operation has proven it. The stainless steel construction allows me to wash it in the dishwasher, which I do. Every time I use it. The silicone garlic machine is much nicer than I expected. I make a couple of gallons of homemade salsa every year and peeling the garlic is a thing of the past. I started using a silicone garlic peeler and it has revolutionized my garlic peeling process. It works fast! Since I no longer replace my garlic press every few years, I save money. This press works just as well for ginger as it does for garlic. I've used it a few times with ginger and there isn't the slightest bulge or crease where the garlic/ginger comes out. I'm usually wary of rounded handles like this because they can hold water when washing. I have NEVER had a water problem with this press. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: I love this garlic press. After a year and a half of continuous use, it shows no signs of wear. I bought the Alpha Grillers garlic press and peeler set at FULL PRICE. I love this set and can only recommend it. Definitely deserves 5 stars!
