Failed at 600 miles with new belt

Worked great after replacing my cheap no name 40,000 mile tensioner that had a knocking problem. However, one day it accidentally failed without warning after about 600 miles of use. It actually rattles worse than my old one. I put a new belt on when I installed it. Not sure if I got a random lemon but not happy at all.
