Review on Kleinn Air Horns HOGKIT-1: Powerful Direct Drive Horn System in Striking Silver & Black, 14 Inch by Paul Abs

These things suck! You want LOUD, get it! You make people pay attention! They were very easy to assemble and install! My only less than enthusiastic comment is that on my HD Road Glide Ultra I have lower fairings and the horns smash right into them and the sound may not spread as far forward as I would like, but probably no worse than that quieter standard horns aimed directly at the ground. 7/24/2018 - Edited: The horns only lasted a year and a half. Unscrewing the down tube on the fourth day of a 7 day trip and screwing it in by hand as tight as I could did not solve the problem. Now I can't ride more than 20 minutes without having to bend over and screw it back on. I may have to try Loc-Tite Teflon tape or white plumbing tape. :-/ Not excited about this development since these things cost around $200. I've loved them so far and loved showing them to people! Later note: Caulking the pipes didn't solve the problem. I had to buy new ones. :(26/07/2018 - I bought new pairs. I immediately coated them with Loc-Tite gel to seal the pipes. They only lasted a year! They stopped working on 06/20/2019! Contacted company. 😡
