Automatic Float Switch works well and seems suitable for bilge operation. The alarm system looks cheaply made and, above all, it should be installed where it will not get wet. Call me demanding and suggestive. But it seems to me that if you make a marine environment flood alarm, you make it waterproof. but that's just me I wanted to install an alarm on the console but had to put it in an electronics box to keep it from getting wet. So. this will silence the audible portion of the alarm if the electronics box is not open.
