One of the two lamps I received was DOA. Whoever is doing the work is doing a great job of keeping my hedgehog nice and warm. The included thermometer is rather limited in functionality, but it works, it helped me to find out where to best place the heat lamp. It's only been a few days so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this lasts for a while! This is obvious, but the bulb gets very hot. Do not touch it after heating, even with protection it can easily melt through the material it comes in contact with. It's better to leave it as soon as possible.
