First of all, this is a very nice teapot and it does what teapots are meant to do. sprung models. Watch your fingers! (I use a long handled wooden spoon to open it). This teapot is made of very thin aluminium. Dent resistance is probably not to be expected, especially in my kitchen where cooking is a contact sport. Coloring is a joke.
