Review on Curt 45006 Bolt-On 2-Inch ATV, UTV Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter: Enhance Towing Capabilities for Off-Road Adventures by Devon Holmes

I bought this for my John Deere 1025R compact tractor. The tractor has a bolt-on plate with pre-existing holes for attaching the ball or other devices. I thought it would be perfect. Curt's products seem to be quite famous. I was sure the parts would be solid. The device looks good as expected. I was nervous about the clutch rotation feedback. Of course I didn't want that. A risk taken. Since the plate on the tractor had a larger flat spot compared to the quads, I decided to rotate the V-plate to use the flat end instead. Well that didn't seem to help much. I tightened all the hardware very hard but it didn't help. I think that opinion will turn. I also had to shorten the shaft because it hit the bolt head and I couldn't get the pin into the receiver. Quick work with a saw and that has been fixed. I'll see how it goes, but I think more work will be needed. 3 stars for good workmanship and easy assembly but minus 2 stars because it will probably rotate.
