I am an experienced knitter and have started to get nerve problems in my hands due to repeated stress. I was also frustrated with the lack of "slip" on the wooden needles I used. I have other sets of metal circles but the connectors weren't seamless and my work got stuck in the connector joints. I decided it was time to invest in a new set. I have several Knitter's Pride circus sets, all made of wood, and until recently I really liked them. I researched various brands but kept coming back to Knitter's Pride. I chose the Cubics Platina because my research showed that the square shape was more ergonomically comfortable. I was not disappointed. The connectors are smooth and the hooks work with my other Knitter's Pride round cords so I didn't have to repurchase my cord collection. The needles are smooth, comfortable, I knit about three times faster with this new set! I will be buying a few more sets if they are ever discontinued. I highly recommend!
