When I bought these I thought they were fairy lights. There are none (my fault); These are fairy lights, which are essentially lights on a string of wire. They're pretty easy to wrap around furniture or whatever you prefer. The remote has multiple lighting options, but the battery pack is quite heavy when it has batteries in it, so keep that in mind when considering placement. Also, the battery holder needs a direct line for the remote control to work. Generally, rope light works best for me, but is great for wrapping around a deck, fence line, or railing when used indoors as they aren't very bright.
