Cheap junk. It's not that I buy a welding helmet because the black one looks good, but I saw the red one and thought it looked good, something different. Well the red color is stained and not very good, he literally scratched himself taking it out of the box and the bottom is black. The only reason I'm wasting my time writing this review for this rubbish is so someone else can save their time. I'm not sure if the people who wrote all the great reviews on this thing got their welding gear, but I can only imagine they must have used some cheap sunglasses before they got their hands on these . In the darkest mode, it was like looking through very dark sunglasses. There's no way I believe they can be classified as safe for welding anything other than very thin steel. I wouldn't believe my eyes on this thing, no way, I sent it back. Maybe they should reclassify it as a brazing helmet instead of a welding helmet. Garbage.
