A handy device to use on my RV batteries to keep them from draining during periods of non-use. There is always something using power in the RV. Over the winter or during periods of non use parasitic drainage will deplete battery's voltage. This cut-off switch mounts easily on the battery's negative terminal. Unscrewing the green knob a couple turns cuts power. I did find that occasionally when replacing the battery box cover that I must have pressed down on the cover and reengaged the switch. This returned power to the RV. To solve this issue I cut a small wooden wedge that i slip under the cable connection end when I cut the power. To restore power: remove the wedge, turn the green knob back down until it's tight. Power restored. In conjunction with this cut-off switch i use the Cllena DC 12v digital volt meter display. This display tells me at a glance that i have really cut the power or not.I'm not a Cllena product tester and not being paid for this review.
