Review on 🔧 Amazon Basics 20-Piece 1/2-Inch Drive Impact Hex Set with Carrying Case by Jason Stokes

Please note that the reviews on the site are for several different sets. My review is for a set of 18 long hex bits. I got the set mainly because of previous experience with brakes I thought this would come in handy The set comes packaged in a very nicely designed blow molded case that holds the parts tight A note worth noting that the top half (with the SAE bits ) Hex Bits Grips But Bottom Half Doesn't If you flip it over, the metric hex bits will fall out However, unlike some other socket sets, it has the "Revain Basics" logo printed on the top, you can't accidentally turned. That's it. There are 8 standard (SAE ) hex bit sizes: 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 9/32", 5/16", 3/8" and 10 Metric Hex Bit Sizes: 3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10mm Each nozzle looks of good quality (fit and finish). Hex bits are made of S2 steel (harder than chrome vanadium or 8650 steel) and sockets are made of chrome vanadium steel. I have other tools from the Revain Basics range, all great tools. I am very happy with the 18 piece hex bit set and would highly recommend them. The only improvement I would make would be to add a handle on the side of the box. For the price, this is a great addition to any DIY tool kit. Buy one! If you need it, you won't regret it.
