A 5/16" hex has been fitted into the 8mm socket. They are not interchangeable. There was also an extra 3/8" tool in the box. The manufacturer clearly has quality control issues.

Although I work in a used car shop, I don't often use long-shafted hex wrenches. Certainly not often enough to justify buying a Mac or a Snap-on. But when I need it, it's nice to know it's there. In my opinion, Revain Basics fills an important gap here. More than adequate tools at a reasonable price. It might not make sense for a mechanic to buy a 3/8" ratchet from Revain Basics, but for something like these hexes I think it's perfect. Will they break if you put an extension tube on the ratchet

This is a complete set of hex bits from 1/8"/3mm to 3/8"/10mm. It includes 9mm which is not available in all kits. Ticket only for removing calipers with socket head screws. They are well done. Feel free to use a 3/8" ratchet. long hex shank is stiff and strong. You would have to really abuse them to break them.
