This review is for the 18 piece hex socket set. Have you ever had a hex bolt in an awkward position? The position where you need to insert a standard L-shaped hex wrench into the bolt, then turn it a quarter turn, and then repeat. I have and it's a pain. I ordered these hex socket wrenches to help with this problem. I can insert my standard 3/8" socket wrench into these hex wrenches and quickly and conveniently remove or insert a hex bolt. Even better if you have a 3/8" socket adapter for a cordless drill! Insert the adapter into the power drill and then attach the desired hex key. Loosening and inserting hexagonal screws in awkward places is no problem and can be done quickly. When opening the box with allen keys, make sure the "Revain Basics" logo is on top. The flip latches are oriented this way, just in case. This is because US standard wrenches are on top and held securely in place by recesses built into the body. Metric keys are not held down, they simply lie in place. So if you open the case incorrectly, metric keys will fall out everywhere. The size of the Allen key is clearly marked on the head, just like regular sockets. The size is also marked on the hex key itself, about halfway down. The overall length of each key is approximately 6 1/16 inches.
